You've had lemon bars, right? Sickly sweet and not very good for you, how pivoting to our Lemon Protein Bars recipe?

With our Bone Broth Protein Vanilla, you're getting the gut, skin and joint support from collagen type II (which, in turn, naturally features glucosamine, chondroitin and hyaluronic acid) plus 19 amino acids! How to Make Lemon Protein Bars 

First, preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 8 x 8 pan with coconut oil.

In a mixing bowl, add the oat flour, protein powder, salt and baking soda and mix well together.

In a separate bowl, combine lemon juice, egg whites, stevia and applesauce.

Combine both bowls ingredients into one bowl. Spread into greased pan and bake for 25 minutes.

The conventional lemon bar is loaded with sugar and contains very little protein. Here that combo gets flipped on its head but retains the wonderful lemon flavor. 

Ingredients
  • 1 cup oat flour

  • ½ cup Bone Broth Protein Vanilla (or Pure)

  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

  • ½ teaspoon baking soda

  • 6 ounces lemon juice

  • 4 egg whites

  • ¼-½ teaspoon stevia

  • 1 cup applesauce

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  3. Mix oat flour, protein power, salt and baking soda together.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine lemon juice, egg whites, stevia and applesauce.

  5. Combine both bowls ingredients into 1 bowl.
