Pumpkin Spice Smoothie Recipe

Let's face it: When the weather is still warm, the delicious Pumpkin Spice Latte doesn't always fit the bill. Instead, how about this Pumpkin Spice Smoothie, also fueled by Bone Broth Protein Pumpkin Spice?
While most pumpkin smoothie recipes use pumpkin puree and can be quite fussy, this one requires just five ingredients (and one is ice!) yet is packed with flavor due to the collagen-based powder infused with traditional fall spices. It's also as power-packed a smoothie as you will find, with 24 grams of protein, 14 grams of fat and 18 grams of carbs … yet clocks in at only 282 calories.
Enjoy this Pumpkin Spice Smoothie in the morning before any big day you have planned! And along the way, know that the Bone Broth Protein helps support a healthy gut, nails, skin and joint health.
Ideally, the half of banana required for this smoothie is frozen first. Often I like to take some of my ripe bananas, slice them them up and place them in a freezer bag and place in the freezer for use later. There's no better addition to a smoothie for improved texture as well as flavor.
When you're ready to make this pumpkin spice smoothie, add the frozen banana, unsweetened almond milk, almond butter, ice (optional) and the Bone Broth Protein Pumpkin Spice to a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth.
Do you need both the frozen banana and the ice? Not necessarily. If you use a room temperature banana, then you'll need ice. If you use a frozen banana, you probably don't.
Don't have Bone Broth Protein Pumpkin Spice on hand? Then use Bone Broth Protein Vanilla and add half a cup of pumpkin purée and one teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice.
