Gut-Supporting Green Smoothie Recipe
By Ethan Boldt

This Gut-Supporting Green Smoothie recipe is one of our favorite recipes to soothe the gut and demonstrate just how easy and delicious healthy eating can be.
All the wholesome ingredients work together to make a creamy drink that’ll satisfy your taste buds while soothing your gut, and it couldn’t be more simple to make.
This gut-supporting green smoothie is brimming with more nutrients than your average meal. The benefit-rich avocado gives it a creamy texture while boosting your performance fat intake.
A mix of honey and ripe bananas make this naturally sweet. And several cups of my favorite leafy greens, kale and spinach, add heaps of vitamins, especially vitamins K and A.If you’re worried that a mix of fruits and veggies won’t keep you full, chia seeds have come to the rescue. They’re packed with fiber, ensuring you feel full for longer. Along with a scoop of Multi Collagen Protein or our new Vegetarian Collagen Protein for additional gut support, this smoothie will tide you over for hours.
In fact, our collagen protein helps gut health, as it includes clinically studied soil-based probiotics to add support for healthy digestive function, healthy elimination and healthy gut microflora.
Beforehand, freeze the two bananas. (Alternatively, add a couple of ice cubes to the blender before mixing — though the mixture won't be as creamy.)
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth (about 2 minutes). If it's too thick for your taste, add a half cup of water and re-blend. Optionally, serve over ice or just by itself.
Also, try my collagen-based chia seed smoothie bowl for a nice switch-up.
