Vegan Fudge Recipe with Plant Protein
By Ethan Boldt
June 27, 2020
You probably wouldn’t normally associate eating fudge with benefits like support for healthy body composition, fat metabolism and increased muscle recovery. But that’s exactly what you can expect from the mix of health-minded ingredients used in our protein-rich vegan fudge recipe.
The ingredient that makes this vegan fudge stand apart from the rest? It’s Ancient Nutriton’s Plant Protein+ powder, a formula that is uniquely made from a blend of real, protein-rich, organic superseeds — including hemp, pumpkin, sunflower, chia and flax seeds.
Unlike the competition, Ancient Nutrition’s vegan protein powder is made from entirely real, recognizable foods without any fillers or additives, plus it’s free of added sugar and relatively low in carbs.
It’s not only high in plant-based protein, but also includes powerful botanicals and adaptogenic herbs. Ashwagandha, cordyceps, rhodiola, holy basil, reishi and other botanicals are included for additional benefits — such as support for a positive mindset, athletic performance and increased muscle mass.
The best part about this delicious vegan fudge is that it takes just a few minutes and some basic ingredients to make, those you probably already have on hand. The combination of nut butter, coconut oil and coconut flour makes it a snack rich in performance fats that will fill you up and keep you coming back for more.
Here’s how to make our vegan fudge …
Serves: 8 to 10
Time: 5 minutes or less
Ingredients:
1 cup creamy nut butter
2 scoops Ancient Nutrition Plant Protein+ Chocolate or Plant Protein+ Vanilla
¼ cup coconut flour
½ cup coconut oil, melted
½ cup unsweetened dark chocolate chips
1 teaspoon sea salt
cinnamon to taste
Directions:
Mix all together, transfer to a glass container and freeze for at least 2 hours before cutting into squares.
